Hey guys! I’m really excited to write this post because it’s about my first time going to Buffalo Exchange, and I’m really really excited to tell you that Buffalo Exchange is as cool as you may have heard it rumored to be.
I don’t know why I’ve never been to Buffalo Exchange, given that it’s only about two blocks from the Fashion Institute of Technology (on 26th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues) where I attended classes for two years, but better late than never, right?!
Aside from being a shelter from the torrential rainfall that day, Buffalo Exchange is treasure trove of consigned goods. Organized, bustling, and dazzling, the store amazed me; I had no idea where to start exploring! The space itself was massive, but the amount of clothing and accessories that filled it is debatably more massive. As I combed through more and more racks (kindly and neatly categorized by item and size), the pile of clothes on my arm grew larger and larger.
I left the fitting room with a super boxy crop top from Parker NY in a fair isle-esque print and a navy quilted mini skirt á la Cher Horowitz. While on line to pay, this gold pendant necklace caught my eye from one of the many racks of jewelry, so I bought it as well!
Oh, and did I mention that the prices are amazing?! xo linds
